What is a Holistic Health Practitioner?

What is a WHOLISTIC (Holistic) Health Practitioner?

The greatest wealth is health.
Health is not simply a matter of absence of illness.
The next major advance in the health of the American people will be determined by what the individual is willing to do for himself.
Drugs almost never deal with the reasons why these problems exist, while they frequently create new health problems as side effects of their activities.
The nature of healing involves removing obstructions to the body's natural state of wellness and bringing individuals into alignment with themselves and their world.
Holistic health is achieved by returning the body to its natural state.
When properly nourished the body maintains a balance and works to heal itself. The body is only as strong as its surrounding environment and the fuel we feed ourselves.
WHOLISM  is based upon the understanding that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Illness does not occur without a cause.  Underlying causes of disease must be discovered and corrected in order to a person get recovered from illness.
Symptoms express the body's attempt to heal, or the body telling us it is sick. If we treat symptoms without looking at their cause, the symptoms return and the illness has grown stronger.
Much of Allopathic Medicine works by suppressing the symptoms of illness instead of removing causes.
The elimination of the symptoms is not the same as elimination of the disease itself.
In allopathic medicine a symptom is usually treated with the goal to hold back, or reduce the discomfort of the symptoms. This is often done without addressing the underlying cause of the problem and this is not a cure.  A perfect example is low grade fever. Low fevers are generally caused by the human body fighting an infection. Treating the low grade fever without treating the infection turns off one of the body's major self-defenses.

The Holistic Health Practitioner seeks to take care of the root causes of disease, rather than merely eliminating or suppressing the symptoms.
The Holistic Health Practitioner believes in treating your whole self, not just the symptoms.
In place of treating the disease the Wholesome works to help you be well so and disease goes away from inside.

To keep the body in good health is our duty. Self-education is the most important thing you can do to protect yourself, cut medical bills, and live a healthier and happier life.
Holistic Health Practitioner's career could be very fulfilling and satisfying.  You can live well and know you are helping others live happier, more fulfilling lives.
